20 Best Brunch Spots in Albuquerque 2024

1. The Shop Breakfast and Lunch

The Shop Breakfast and Lunch

2933 Monte Vista Blvd NE, Albuquerque

(505) 433-2795

Brunch Menu:

  • Americana Breakfast
  • Huevos Rancheros
  • Breakfast Sandwich
  • Carne Adovada Burrito
  • Lemon Cornmeal Pancakes

The Shop Breakfast and Lunch has adequate parking space for its customers and has friendly staffs. The customers are also enthusiastic about recommending dishes because each of the dishes is good for consumption by employees and guests. Some of the best items include the Lemon Cornmeal Pancakes and Eggs Benny. The menu is diverse, and the choice of tasty dishes is impressing, for example, gluten-free waffles or freshly baked biscuits. Even if it takes a lengthy time of waiting in a queue to get a bite, it is all worth the wait. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend people to try out The Shop Breakfast and Lunch if in Albuquerque.

2. Vic’s Daily Cafe

Vic's Daily Cafe

3600 Osuna Rd NE #105, Albuquerque

(505) 341-9710

Brunch Menu:

  • The Athenean
  • The Sicilian
  • Denver Omelette
  • Buttermilk Pancakes
  • Ham and Two Eggs

Vic’s Daily Cafe is well regarded as one of the top breakfast joints in Albuquerque. If one goes there, and especially on weekends, there might be many people ahead of you and you may wait for a while, but it is all worth it. Their vaquero chicken-fried steak platter is thankfully made using tenderized in-house cube steak that is also flavorful. The coffee is good, biscuits are homemade and the staff there is indeed very friendly. French toast and the strudel were delicious to the eyes as well as the palate but I would like to note that the fried chicken steak did not meet my expectation as a Texan. This restaurant serves delicious mashed potatoes with chicken fried steak and the portions are quite large. They may lack attention to details but as far as providing service is concerned, they are friendly. All in all, it can be seen that eating home food in Vic’s Daily Cafe is quite impressive and it is worth a try.

3. Cafe lush

Cafe lush

700 Tijeras Ave NW, Albuquerque

(505) 508-0164

Brunch Menu:

  • Breakfast Pizza
  • Breakfast Treat
  • Lushaladas
  • Fruit & Yogurt Parfait
  • Marlowe Burger

For mouthwatering food and outstanding service, Cafe Lush in Albuquerque is a must-visit. The staff is aware of dietary rules and comes highly recommended with the kale salad and French toast. With both inside and outdoor seating, the ambiance is friendly. The excitement is increased by the distinct menu offered at weekend brunch. Having said all of that, Cafe Lush is an excellent discovery and dining experience for all.

4. Jimmy’s Cafe On Jefferson

Jimmy's Cafe On Jefferson

7007 Jefferson St NE, Albuquerque

(505) 341-2546

Brunch Menu:

  • Jimmy’s Basic Burrito
  • Sausage & Bacon Skillet
  • Vegetarian Omelette
  • Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich
  • Eggs Benedict

Jimmy’s cafe located on Jefferson is a perfect place to have lunch or brunch. The meals offered are tasty and freshly cooked with a proper stock at fairly chalrming prices. Having personnel such as Hondo willing to make sure that the guests get what they want makes the service to be fast and friendly. The space is absolutely cute; Dollar store photo frames and old pictures were used to decorate the place. Though it is crowded, it is a fantastic place to go to.

5. Central Grill and Coffee House

Central Grill and Coffee House

2056 Central Ave SW, Albuquerque

(505) 554-1424

Brunch Menu:

  • Grande Burrito
  • Huevos Rancheros
  • Going Bananas French Toast
  • Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs
  • Steak & Eggs

Central Grill and Coffee House is a good restaurant to go to have brunch and take very good meals and quality coffee. The physical environment represented by the clean appearance of the restaurant and polite staff creates a satisfactory ambiance. Despite it is crowded during the International Balloon Fiesta, the taste of the pancakes and the flavored lattes which were served are delicious and nice to recommend. However, the breakfast tacos and the croque madame were so below average, tacos being soft and tasted generic while the bread was stale. Central Grill and Coffee House is still highly recommended whether for breakfast or brunch.

6. The Grove Cafe & Market

The Grove Cafe & Market

600 Central Ave SE STE A, Albuquerque

(505) 248-9800

Brunch Menu:

  • Eggs Benedict
  • Vegetarian Eggs Benedict
  • Smoked Salmon Scramble

The Grove Cafe & Market is a wonderful place for brunch, with excellent food and beverages, a welcoming and knowledgeable staff, and a cheery and cheerful setting. My particular favourites are the elegant breakfast sandwich and the adorable latte art. The pancakes’ edible blossoms and largely white surface also contribute to the visual appeal. The excellent ingredients and mouthwatering meal make up for the somewhat expensive price tag. The only drawback is a long queue during prime time, but other than that, it’s highly recommended for a satisfying and delightful breakfast.

7. Sunnyside Up Breakfast and Lunch Cafe

Sunnyside Up Breakfast and Lunch Cafe

6909 Menaul Blvd NE Suite A, Albuquerque

(505) 888-3447

Brunch Menu:

  • Classic Eggs Benedict
  • Avocado Toast
  • Banana Nut Pancakes
  • Smoked Salmon Bagel

Anyone searching for fine dining and outstanding service in Albuquerque should check out Sunnyside Up Breakfast and Lunch Cafe. The Parisian Benedict with croissant and avocado is a meal you just must try, and the open-concept restaurant boasts some of the friendliest wait staff around. Highly recommended are the loaded ranch potatoes and smashed avocado, along with the exquisite French toast, biscuits, and gravy. The food quality had changed, which was a small letdown, but other than that, the experience was excellent thanks to the pleasant ambiance, helpful personnel in the aspect of great customer service, and fantastic drinks.

8. Slate Street Cafe

Slate Street Cafe

515 Slate Ave NW, Albuquerque

(505) 243-2210

Brunch Menu:

  • Green Chile Eggs Benedict
  • Chorizo Breakfast Burrito
  • French Toast
  • Grilled Chicken Salad

One of the best places in Albuquerque for brunch is Slate Street Cafe. The fried chicken and delectable scallop appetizers were the highlights of the fun-filled champagne champagne-tasting evening. The reviewer had a wonderful time overall, despite the somewhat disappointing sweets, and she intends to go again soon. Though some reviewers thought the meal was lackluster, others praised the brunch and the mimosa bucket in particular. Not all reviewers had the same experience. Though noisy and packed at times, the outdoor seating is very nice. In general, Slate Street Cafe is a fantastic choice for Albuquerque brunch.

9. Weck’s

Weck's

3913 Louisiana Blvd NE, Albuquerque

(505) 881-0019

Brunch Menu:

  • Huevos Rancheros
  • Blueberry Pancakes
  • Breakfast Burrito
  • Cinnamon Raisin French Toast

Here in Weck’s brunch spot, the staff is outstanding, and the pancakes with green chile and French toast are delicious. The chain has a welcoming, unpretentious ambiance, but expect to wait—it’s constantly busy. Waffles are a must-try, even though other items might not be to everyone’s taste. But notwithstanding this place is a well-liked spot with quick service and choices for finicky diners.

10. The Daily Grind

The Daily Grind

4360 Cutler Ave NE, Albuquerque

(505) 883-8310

Brunch Menu:

  • Classic American Breakfast
  • Belgian Waffles
  • California Omelette
  • Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich

The Daily Grind is a great place to have brunch. Pets are welcome on the patio, and the staff—especially Michaela—is welcoming and helpful.

The French Toast BLT in particular is amazing, and the service is outstanding. One criticism is that there isn’t enough Dijon mustard in the Pear Essentials.

11. The Farmacy

The Farmacy

3718 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque

(505) 227-0330

Brunch Menu:

  • Farmacy Benedict
  • Acai Bowl
  • Quinoa Avocado Salad
  • Farmers’ Market Omelette

A recent review said The Farmacy in Albuquerque is a brunch destination that boasts tasty food and unique menu offerings. The interior and outside dining facilities were good despite waiting for a short time and a question of whether there were too many people for the event. The bacon was slightly on the spicy side although the French Underground waffle with blueberries, raspberries and Brie cheese was lovely as the entrée. However, the improvement Bellini mimosa that was made was allowable but still did not have much of a peach flavor. Although the portion of quiche was rather small, the reviewer wants to try more waffle variants and rates The Farmacy rather high. The service that was offered by Brian was good, and they did offer adequate parking spaces as well.

12. Range Cafe Rio Grande

Range Cafe Rio Grande

1050 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque

(505) 508-2640

Brunch Menu:

  • Green Chile Cheeseburger
  • Chicken Enchiladas
  • Blue Corn Chicken Salad
  • Breakfast Burrito

If you take a walk to Rio Grande Blvd NW you will learn how much the eggs and gravy are tended. The biscuits, and pecan rolls are soft and delicious too. The food is good and there is lots of it and the service that is given is top notch. Both Jeff and Jennifer are friendly and polite; they always gave the visitors a warm welcome and treated them with great hospitality. We highly suggest the enchiladas con Calabasas, shrimp and grits, breakfast burrito, and chicken fried steak. The only thing I could actually really complain about is that the rice was overcooked and very dry. To be very honest, this is one of the best restaurants that offers delicious meals, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff.

13.  Range Cafe Downtown

Range Cafe Downtown

320 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque

(505) 243-1440

Brunch Menu:

  • Range Burger
  • Southwestern Chicken Wrap
  • New Mexican Plate
  • Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad

As for breakfast, the Atmosphere and the staff in Range Cafe Downtown in Albuquerque are the incredible. Lobo Club and Biscuits and Gravy are both great, and the meal is worth the additional dollar or two that is charged.

You will be enjoining your portion of the apple pie with green hatch chilies or chocolate coconut cream pie. The will always find a way to accommodate you with a friendly and polite attitude even when you forget your booking. I suggest you all to pay a visit to this restaurant when you are in Albuquerque.

14. Cafe 6855

Cafe 6855

6855 4th St NW, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque

(505) 890-9150

Brunch Menu:

  • Eggs Benedict
  • Stuffed French Toast
  • Shakshuka
  • Smoked Salmon Bagel

For great brunch meals, a variety of delicious and intriguing foods are available on the menu of Cafe 6855, so guests are guaranteed to find something to sate their hunger. The live piano player enhances the entire experience, and the restaurant boasts excellent personnel who are courteous and attentive. While you’re eating, the patio is a nice area to enjoy some natural light. Even though there was a small problem with overcooked eggs during the rush hour at breakfast, overall the experience was excellent and highly recommended. Strongly advised!

15. Tia B’s La Waffleria

Tia B's La Waffleria

3710 Campus Blvd NE, Albuquerque

(505) 492-2007

Brunch Menu:

  • Belgian Waffle
  • Chilaquiles
  • Waffle Breakfast Sandwich
  • Tres Leches Waffle

Tia B’s La Waffleria has a lovely patio out back, excellent staff, music, and overall environment. Lavender blue corn waffle is a unique and delightful flavor; cherry and goat cheese waffle tastes like cheesecake. Customer service can, however, occasionally be stern and unwelcoming, according to some reviews. Ultimately, for brunch or any meal, Tia B’s La Waffleria is a hidden gem in the community that is not to be missed.

16. XO Waffle

XO Waffle

1909 Bellamah Ave NW S, Albuquerque

(505) 318-8803

Brunch Menu:

  • XO Waffle
  • Avocado Toast
  • Eggs Benedict
  • Chicken and Waffles

XO Waffle provides a diverse menu and mouthwatering waffles for a delightful brunch experience in Albuquerque. The chicken and waffle with spicy maple syrup is a must-try, but the strawberry and pumpkin waffles with fresh whipped cream are the standouts. The atmosphere is perfect for gathering with friends and family, and the staff is courteous.

17. Range Cafe Wyoming

Range Cafe Wyoming

4401 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque

(505) 293-2633

Brunch Menu:

  • Green Chile Cheeseburger
  • Santa Fe Chicken Salad
  • Blue Corn Enchiladas
  • Breakfast Burrito

The artwork at Range Cafe Wyoming is entertaining, and the ambiance is calm and laid back. The meal is excellent and includes plenty of vegan options. The quantities are generous. The homemade mixes of the cocktails are also highly recommended; they add a good balance of sweetness and spice. The restaurant is ideal for large meals following a night of partying or for family get-togethers. Not to mention the delicious pastries and full pies for sale, the chicken-fried steak is a must-try. Range Cafe Wyoming deserves a five-star rating from my end.

18. The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club

640 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque

(505) 831-5918

Brunch Menu:

  • Classic Breakfast Plate
  • Pancake Stack
  • Avocado Toast
  • Eggs Benedict

The Breakfast Club is a wonderful tiny family-owned eatery that offers a substantial breakfast. The workers are incredibly kind, the food is expertly cooked, and the service is prompt. The kitchen staff’s excellent cooking more than makes up for their occasionally stern and unwelcoming demeanor. Normally, outside food and drink are not permitted at the restaurant. The parking is simple and the fees are reasonable. Even if some patrons have had conflicting experiences with the personnel, the cuisine is unquestionably delicious. All things considered, The Breakfast Club is a good option for a straightforward, filling breakfast.

19. Mimi’s Cafe

Mimi's Cafe

4316 The 25 Way, Albuquerque

(505) 341-0300

Brunch Menu:

  • Quiche Lorraine
  • French Toast
  • Chicken Pot Pie
  • Croissant Sandwich

In Albuquerque, Mimi’s Cafe is a fantastic place to have brunch or breakfast. The staff that serves customers with food and drinks is nice, and the food is delicious especially the muffins and eggs benedict. One of the best dishes is the French onion soup. Although the meal has received mixed reviews from various reviewers, the general ambiance is charming and comfortable. For a filling dinner, Mimi’s is recommended by us to you.

20. Cacho’s Bistro

Cacho's Bistro

1909 Bellamah Ave NW, Albuquerque

(505) 273-0284

Brunch Menu:

  • Filet Mignon
  • Salmon Florentine
  • Caprese Salad
  • Risotto

The Venezuelan restaurant Cacho’s Bistro in Sawmill Market, Albuquerque, has delicious empanadas, tequeños, and cachapas, Pernil Cachapa with cheese and plantains.

There was also wonderful plantain and bean arepa. You should go there for breakfast or any other meal. The food quality makes up for the somewhat expensive pricing.

Final Words

None of the above-mentioned brunch Spots in Albuquerque are completely perfect to 100%, and you should not expect that. Nothing in this life is completely perfect. So if you experience a little fault don’t take it for an offence.

But one thing I’m sure of is creative twists on brunch classics or authentic local dishes. From cozy cafes to bustling eateries, Albuquerque’s brunch spots cater to all tastes, ensuring a memorable weekend ritual. Don’t miss out
